i just wanted to take this time to tell you i am sorry for the loss of your precious son.please know that others share your pain with you and will always be close by if you need us.joey will always be in your heart for death can't take that from us.this will be the hardest thing you ever have to live with but one day we get the promise of being with our babies again.i know he isn't a small baby but he will always be your baby!take care and if you need  to talk,scream,cry whatever you want to do please know i am available.let me know if you want my email.always a friend drema mommy to amanda faith wooten (forrest)

Our Sages say “Sleep is one sixtieth of death.” This means that death is also a form of sleep. Just as sleep rejuvenates the body and soul for a new day; death is a descent for the sake of ascent, releasing the soul to soar to the heights of heaven. Freed from the restraints of the physical with the veil now lifted, they are finally able to see the truth. They are no longer close to others by proximity, but by likeness. Watching over their loved ones, and guiding them to perform loving acts of kindness to others. This is how we remain close to them, by elevating our spirits to theirs with our good deeds. 

 

I pray that God will give comfort to all, but especially to Tami and Shelly, granting them the peace of mind that comes with knowing that Joey is still with them is spirit, sharing in their distress, and rejoicing at every joyous family event.

Tami no mother should ever have to go through what you have gone through. As I read all your loving messages it touches my heart. Your Joey must of been quite a young man. He was truly loved by so many. You my friend, my heart and my prayers go out to you. I love you.

TAMI, THANK YOU FOR LIGHTING A CANDLE FOR MY BOYS. I'M SO SORRY TO HEAR OF JOEY'S ACCIDENT. I KNOW THIS IS STILL VERY FRESH FOR YOU AND UNFORTUNATLY, IT DOESN'T GET ANY EASIER WITH TIME, AS THEY SAY. I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I WILL KEEP JOEY IN MY HEART AND MY THOUGHTS.  ALSO, I WILL PRAY THAT GOD HEALS YOUR HEART AND EVEN THOUGH IT'S BEEN VERY DIFFICULT TO DO, TRY TO FIND SOME KIND OF NORMAL. I saw the last photo in the gallery of Joey being hugged and it reminded me of an old Jewish saying..."God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mothers." 

You are and always will be Joey's Mother.  You gave him the opportunity to experience life and from everyones account your Joey lived his life to the fullest without restraint and with total joy.

What wonderful gifts your son received from you his Mother...his life and your love.
